The following scholarships are offered to students through the Gender Center on campus! They are open to students of all genders! The Ericsson scholarship is only open to Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Electrical Engineering majors.
Applications are due on Friday, June 1, 2018 for the following scholarships:
- Lars Magnus Ericsson STEM Scholarship
- Keith-Huckaba Endowed Student Support Fund
- Ann and Joseph Montemayor Memorial Scholarship
There is a program called Girls in Tech Dallas that is looking for new members from UTD:
-They create career pathways for emerging female technologists by using their relationships with the top tech companies in Dallas.
-They connect students to quality mentors who are professionals in STEM fields.
-They provide resources to help students advance and certify their skillsets, as well as enter management training programs.
-They offer perks like free coffee at various coffee shops and day passes at coworking spaces in the DFW area (for budding entrepreneurs).
