We will be hosting a resume workshop with McAfee on Wednesday, September 11th @ 7:30pm in GR 2.530! An engineering recruiter will be presenting on last-minute tips and tricks on cultivating a resume that enhance your technical skills and project experiences. This is a great opportunity to see what recruiters look for in a candidate, which is just in time before the intern fair! Food will be provided. Bring your questions and resumes to follow along and annotate them with notes from the workshop. We hope to see you guys out there!
We’re excited to be hosting a Women in Technology panel discussion by female engineers at Fannie Mae on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 @ 7:30PM in ECSS 2.412. Following the panel will be a resume review! With the intern fair right around the corner, this is a great opportunity to have your resume critiqued by workplace professionals. You don’t want to miss this fun and engaging event to network with Fannie Mae engineers and have your resume critiqued. Food will be provided. Make sure to bring your questions and resumes. Are you a female looking for networking opportunities? GenHERation will be hosting an Invitational at AT&T in Dallas on Friday, September 6th. GenHERation Invitationals are half-day immersion programs that allow high school and college women to work alongside female executives at the most innovative companies in America. Companies outline the applicant profile for available positions and AT&T invite GenHERation members to apply to demonstrate their qualifications in person. This event is for college juniors and seniors who are looking to get a full-time job or internship with AT&T in 2020.

Women in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) is a unique living learning community (LLC) at UT Dallas. The goal for this program is to increase retention of female students by offering a community of peers to provide support, a team of faculty for mentorship, coursework with an academic connection, and co-curricular programming to reinforce professional development.
