Our fantastic officer team will be hosting a panel to talk about the application process, preparation for the conference, and their GHC experience, and feel free to ask them any questions about it. Hi all! WiCyS is excited to announce that through the generous giving of the Craig Newmark Foundation and collaboration with National Cyber League (NCL), 600 COMPLIMENTARY PASSES will be given out to participate in the 2019 National Cyber League Fall Season competition.
If you are a member of WiCyS, you are eligible to apply and should include all information in the form below for the best chance to receive a WiCyS/NCL game code to play! After filling out the form, students will be notified by Oct. 4 if they received a complimentary pass and then need to register. Completing the form does not guarantee a pass since there are a limited number of WiCyS/NCL game codes.
Deadline to apply is Tuesday, Oct. 1, 11:59 p.m. ET.

The Computer Science department at UTD hosts Grace Series talks to empower all.
The next Grace Series Talk will be Thursday, September 26, 2019 – 7pm to 8pm.

Talk Title: “20,000+ Days of Learning and Still Learning”

Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) is having their annual conference in Denver, CO from March 12-14, 2020. Students must apply for WiCyS scholarships to attend the conference. Students receiving scholarships will get guaranteed registration with two nights of shared lodging (March 12th and 13th) and all meals (including vouchers for breakfast). There will be some travel scholarships (up to $500) available to WiCyS scholarship recipients.
Deadline for WiCyS scholarship application is October 19th.
Acceptance notification is November 16th.
